Our little story...
On November 3, we saw quite a few things. We were in Oban in the morning, and went to Glenfinnan in the evening. We took a little detour on the road to see Kilchurn Castle. It was closed due to renovation, but we were still able to take a tour. At the northern end of Loch Awe, the castle is accessible via a path in a field. To enter, you have to pass a barrier which indicates the presence of cows in the area. Unfortunately, we didn't see any that day. We stayed to see the sun slip behind the castle. Rays of light passed through the openings and shadows grew visibly on the surrounding peaks. We left before dark, a good road still awaited us.
