Our little story...
We visited Craigmillar Castle on December 4, just before discovering Edinburgh city center under heavy snowflakes. The castle was very lively during our visit, and for good reason! a wedding was being prepared. We saw many of the kilts worn that day as we wandered through the castle floors. A ceremony such as a wedding requires official attire. Craigmillar Castle is one of the best preserved and maintained ruined castles we have seen.
