Our little story...
On November 12, Janis, who hosted us in Ullapool, suggested that we go and visit Scoraig, a peninsula where the inhabitants only reach it by a taxi-boat. So we went to visit our host's parents, who live there in total autonomy and it was the opportunity to bring three chickens, who could not stay with Janis. We left at 2 p.m. after enjoying a good homemade soup, we couldn't miss the water taxi. On the way back, we stopped at Corrieshalloch Gorge, a dizzying and magical setting. The mist rose from the bottom of the gorges, where a torrent descended rapidly. A suspended footbridge allows you to go from one side to the other, or to stop in the middle, suspended above the Abhainn Droma River, as if we were flying through the fog.
