Our little story...
We discovered Cairn Holy on October 27, under a gray and low sky, with a little drizzle. A real Dreich Day as the locals say. Julien's mother and aunt were with us for a week, they were able to experience the “typical” weather. The visit to Cairn Holy takes place at the entrance to a farm, the access path being shared. The site is separated in two, and the two parts are surrounded by stone walls, very present in the south of Scotland. The term cairn means tomb in French. These are two tombs that come straight from the Neolithic period. One of them would be that of the mythical Scottish king Galdus.
